I help adults work through their feelings and difficulties so they can feel better aligned. I combine short-term counseling and long-term therapy, using Jungian oriented depth psychotherapy. Clients in my practice often describe feelings of being lost, stuck and empty because they are anxious and confused. Some people come to therapy so they can seek relief and answers to difficult situations and questions. Issues often have roots in the past because trauma is often buried in the unconscious mind and in the body. It can show up in relationship conflicts, work problems, and even physical pain or persistent illness. Psychotherapy can be a key to unlocking and rediscovering hidden resources within us all, but the key is working together. Understanding and working through emotional pain allows us to find new pathways and develop one’s authentic self. I strive to hold a safe, warm, and non-judgmental space in therapy. This can allow us to slow down and work through these difficult times together. Both tears and laughter can evolve from our work.
